Carbonized Fiber Packing

Carbonized fiber packing is braided from oxidized PAN fiber impregnated with PTFE, silicon-oil-free. Compared with traditional carbonized fiber packing, it is not brittle and suitable for high peripheral speed applications.

With the high strength and good thermal conductivity of the PAN fiber, and excellent self-lubrication of the PTFE, the packing has a long life and does not damage shafts. The related carbon fiber packing for a different purpose is available, such as Carbonized fiber packing with graphite, Carbonized Fiber Packing Reinforced with Nickel wire, Carbon fiber packing.

Feature

High Mechanical Strength:
The pre-oxidizedcarbonized fibers provide exceptional strength and durability.

Excellent Thermal Conductivity:
The carbonized fibers offer good heat dissipation, making them suitable for high-temperature applications.

Superior Self-Lubrication:
The PTFE emulsion and graphite particles ensure low friction and wear, extending the life of both the packing and the shaft.

Non-Brittle:
Unlike traditional carbon fiber packing, this material avoids brittleness, ensuring reliable performance in dynamic applications.

Shaft-Friendly:
The packing is non-abrasive, preventing damage to shafts and allowing for long-term use.

High-Speed Capability:
Suitable for high peripheral speeds, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.

Food Industry Compatibility:
The silicone-oil-free composition makes it suitable for use in food processing and other sensitive industries.

Application

Weak Acids and Alkalis:
Suitable for sealing weak acids, weak alkalis, and media containing small amounts of solid particles.

Static and Dynamic Sealing:
Effective for both static and dynamic sealing applications.

Pumps and Valves:
Widely used in centrifugal pumps, plunger pumps, mixers, agitators, and valves.

High-Temperature Applications:

Can be used in hot water up to 160°C without cooling.

With cooling, it can handle temperatures up to 207°C.

Particularly ideal for hot water, condensate, and heat transfer fluid pumps.
